Sketchbook of Europe

Today was rather lengthy with many problems and headaches. Amongest the trouble were perhaps the most beautiful sights I have seen in museums. We visited the Neue Pinakothek in Munchen, Germany. I saw many Rodins that I didn't know existed, greatly impressed me with their skillful appearance. I stood close to Van Goghs and Monets, gapping at other artists I hadn't heard of or can remember.

In the morning, we visited Dachau, a Nazi concentration camp. The gravel and barren landscape created a reality of the prisoners' lives. The sculpture in front looked like barbed wire created with bones, gruesome.

We were all exhausted and braced overselves for the overnight drive to Paris.
